The 42nd Annual Concord, NH CROP Hunger Walk
Sponsored by the Greater Concord Interfaith Council, will be held on Saturday, October 10, hosted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Clinton Street.
Registration begins at 9:00 am, introductions and announcements at 9:30, and the 2.5 mile walk begins at 10:00. There will be a water & apple stop at the corner of Pleasant Street and South Fruit Street. The youth of Latter Day Saints will be providing pancakes, sausage, bacon, juice, etc. to walkers and volunteers at the church following the walk.
Money raised supports the work of Church World Service, with 25% of what we raise coming back to the Interfaith Council to distribute to local programs. As of October 1st, twelve faith communities have registered teams.
