On April 7th, at the fifth Lenten luncheon, Adam Smedberg, Community Engagement Specialist for Church World Service, talked about CWS’s work with Afghan refugees following the US withdrawal last summer, as well as what CWS is doing now to assist those displaced by war in the Ukraine.
