Dear CROP Recruiters, Team Captains, other volunteers and all our walkers,

Thank you for your participation in this year's CROP walk!!
 
We still have a few outstanding walker envelopes to collect, and donations can still be made online for at least another month.  So the numbers below will go up, and our “top fundraisers” list could change. But here’s where we are now.   Please share this good news with your faith communities.

(Note that on walk day last year we had raised $9161, and our final total was $11, 474.25.  So we are $1137 ahead of where we were at this time last year. Wouldn’t it be great if the trend continues and we exceed our 2016 total!)

• 14 faith communities participated in today’s walk.
• Approximately 90 people and at least 6 dogs actually walked the route. 
• Approximately 20 people took part in the walk in other ways:  checking in walkers & counting money, staffing the water stations, taking pictures, being crossing guards, setting up the gym for our pre-walk meeting, resetting for post walk refreshments, cleaning up afterward, and cooking burgers & hotdogs for us.

Today we raised money to help with international, domestic, and local needs. (Remember that 25% of our total will be returned to the Interfaith Council for distribution to local food programs.) Thanks to all of you for a job well done!
